Hosseinabad Carpets : The name of carpets woven in the village of Hosseinabad that is located in Northwestern Persia. The Hosseinabad carpets are thick in the pile and tightly woven. Their usual design is called Herati which is also found in Farahancarpets.
Koliai Carpets : The carpets Koliai have taken their name from the nomadic tribe of the same name. Koliai nomads live in villages southeast of the city Senneh. The carpets are durable with a thick pile. Herbal colors give shine to the very good quality wool. The large designs are impressive with the primary color being red and shades of it.
Nomadic carpets with designs influenced by urban carpets: They are carpets woven by nomads who for the past few years had been living in villages. The carpets are woven in the nomadic style of weaving, but their designs are nowadays influenced by urban carpets. Due to the nomadic style of weaving carpets are sometimes uneven in shape.
