Patchwork Carpets : Patchwork carpets are made of pieces of different handmade carpets that are cut and sewn together. The art of these carpets comes from ancient times. The final surface of the carpet can be made up of many different patterns, geometric shapes, people, animals, etc. Recently, Patchwork has been widely disseminated as it is considered a new and modern art form.
Classic Carpets: Carpets that are woven in urban centres in fixed workshops and looms(as opposed to nomads). Their designs are first done on paper by carpet designers. These designs are strictly conducted by the weaver during the manufacturing. Even in these carpets, though there may be slight variations in weaving.
